Goat Island Greenway Extension

Construction began in September 2018 on the Goat Island Greenway Extension.  The trail head will be located at 305 Greenwood Place (Goat Island Parking Lot).  The trail will be roughly a one-mile connection between the Goat Island Greenway and the current greenway located at the South Fork Village Apartments with future plans to connect into McAdenville to create one continuous connection from Downtown Cramerton to Downtown McAdenville.

The Goat Island Greenway Extension will parallel the South Fork River and will run underneath Wilkinson Boulevard.  This greenway is park of the Carolina Thread Trail Network and is scheduled for completion in late 2018/early 2019.
