Saturday, November 2 on Goat Island Park – 10:00am
Float the Fork, Turkey Shoot, and the Destiny Lives On Family Fun Day are all part of a great day of events we’ve dubbed the South Fork Celebration!
Discover one of the South Fork’s crown jewels… GOAT ISLAND with our annual Turkey Shoot!
Calling all sharpshooters! Come hangout with us on Goat Island on November 2nd for a chance to win a Thanksgiving Turkey! We will have turkey targets setup on the island and all you have to do is hit the bulls-eye and you win a turkey.
The best part is the first shot is free! After that it’s two dollars for three shots and five dollars for eight shots. Paintball guns and paint balls will be provided and there is a TWO turkey limit per person.
This event is open to all ages!
Once you’re done mowing down our turkey targets, be sure to hang out for the Destiny Lives On Family Fun Day in Centennial Center for awesome games, vendors, music, door prizes and more!
Saturday, November 2 at Cramerton Centennial Center – 9:00am
Our Float the Fork, Turkey Shoot, and the Destiny Lives on Family Fun Day are all part of a great day of events we’ve dubbed the South Fork Celebration!
Start the South Fork Celebration off right… on the waters of the South Fork!
Join us for our final group paddle of the year on the South Fork River! This one is to enjoy the beautiful fall foliage!
We will put in the water at the Centennial Center River Access and paddle upstream the McAdenville Dam and float back to Centennial Center as a group! The McAdenville Dam is the only rival to our beautiful Goat Island Bridge as the most picturesque scene on the South Fork River with the fire blaze of the fall leaves as the backdrop… and we will get to see both on this trip!
