The Town of Cramerton is proud to pay a much deserved tribute to the men and women who have served our Country in the Armed Forces.
To that end, we are in the process of planning and constructing a Veterans Memorial plaza in Centennial Center directly across the intersection from Cramerton Town Hall. This beautiful memorial will feature bronze statues of a World War II soldier dressed in Cramerton Army Cloth and his daughter, representing family sacrifice and sense of pride, both saluting the American Flag that flies proudly nearby. Directly behind the statues will be an Honor Wall displaying the names of those Cramerton residents that made the ultimate sacrifice, and were either killed in action, killed in service or are designated missing in action. The second wall will tell the story of Cramerton Khaki and the role that our citizens played in the war effort. The third wall will have a dedication message and a list of the major contributors who made it a reality. The Memorial will also feature five service pillars which each pay tribute to a branch of the U.S. Military. If we are going to meet our goal of dedicating this monument in November 2018, we need your help!
The “Informational Flyer” and “Donation Form” provide further details on this project and the various donation opportunities, and the “CVM Paver Order Form” is available so that you may place your order for an Honor Paver. Thank you so much for your interest and support!
