Same day registration available starting at 4:30pm at Goat Island.

Bark in the Park Awards: Smallest Dog (6pm), Biggest Dog (6:45pm), Most Appropriate Name (7:30pm) and Best Trick (8:15pm.) Kid’s Pet Art Drawing Contest winners announced at 8:15pm – 3 age categories! Free to enter!

Youth Fishing Tournament: 5:30pm-8:15pm – Awards announced at 8:30pm for Biggest Fish, Smallest Fish, and Most Fish Caught. Free to enter! Ages 15 and under do not need a fishing license to participate.

Free Youth Corn Hole Tournament (ages 15 and under) – 5:30pm – individual registrations accepted and we will pair up teams.

Winner Takes All Corn Hole Tournament – 6:30pm – $20/team entry fee.

Christmas Card Contest:

Ages 5-12. Design a 5/8 index card with a Christmas theme and turn it in at the Cramerton Rec Department (8 Julian Street) by 5pm on Friday, November 20. First place wins $25 and will be featured at the Christmas Tree Lighting! Two divisions.

For parade entries, please call Cramerton Parks and Recreation at 704-824-4231. There is no cost for parade entries. Line-up starts at 2:30pm at the Food Lion parking lot and all entries must be in line no later than 3:30pm.

Gaston County Park Hop is a month-long scavenger hunt for you and your family to discover and explore the wonderful parks across the county while earning great prizes.  Park Hoppers can participate by visiting 19 different parks in the county, discover clues and enter to win cool prizes like pool passes, t-shirts, drawstring bags, water bottles and more.  Everyone who visits at least 10 parks will earn a Frisbee.  Participants of all ages are encouraged to participate.

Calling all child and adult artists! We want to see drawings or paintings of your furry friends! All artwork will be displayed during our Bark in the Park and a trophy will be given to the winner in each of our 6 age groups! Age groups are: 4 and under, 5-8, 9-12, 13-17, Adult, and Senior (ages 60 and up.) Free to enter! Please turn in artwork to the Cramerton Rec Department by Friday, June 26th at 5:00pm. 10am – Disc Golf Clinic and Tours – Free entry.

10am-12pm – Doubles Corn hole tournament on Goat Island. Registration is $10 a team and must be completed by June 26th at Cramerton Parks and Recreation. Cash prizes!

10am-1pm – Bark in the Park on Goat Island

6:30pm-9:30pm – Live music by Skate Rink Jukebox, food vendors, kid’s activities at Cramerton Town Center.

9:15pm – Fireworks (Goat Island will be closing at 4:00pm to set-up for the show.) Fireworks are best viewed at Cramerton Town Center and Stuart Cramer High School.

Youth Semi-Annual Fishing Tournament
When: Saturday, September 27th 7am-10am
Where: Riverside Park (Riverside Drive)
Cost: FREE

Pre-register at Cramerton Parks and Recreation until Friday, September 26th at 5pm OR register the morning of the tournament. Trophies will be given for the biggest, smallest, and ugliest fish. This is a catch-and-release tournament. Fishing licenses are not required for children 15 and under.
